34TH EDITION OF FACC PASSPORT TO FRANCE A FOODIES DELIGHT
STORY AND PHOTOS BY DWIGHT CASIMERE
Dwight Casimere with Juan-Luis Goujon-President FACC-
Chicago
Gastronomes, foodies and Oenophiles from all walks of life descended upon Zhou B Art Studio in Bridgeport to stroll the humongous art galleries and nosh on delicacies from more the 60 purveyors of French influenced wine and food from restaurants, wine purveyors and catering services throughout the Chicago area. The annual Passport to France by the French American Chamber of Commerce- FACC Chicago, is the premiere event showcasing French gastronomic art. The juxtaposition of modern art, both culinary and sensory represents a synergy that is euphoric. Add to that the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau, the first wine of the French wine harvest, courtesy of Georges Duboeuf, and it is an experience that is non-pareil. As the French would say, C'est Magnifique!
